What a week! I didn’t think we could pack as much as we did into a week spent camping in the wilderness in the middle of Georgia, USA. From drenched tents to meal rations – they really did prepare us for the field! Apart from it being physically demanding, the week prepared us mentally and spiritually for what was yet to come. It was an intense schedule, full of teachings, advice and a whole lot of guidance on certain cultural norms we would have to get used to, especially for those who had never gone on a charity mission trip before (which was the majority of us!). Trying to do everything with my right hand as a leftie in Indonesia will definitely be troubling to those I’m eating with!! Sorry in advance guys 🙂
It was amazing to see who had also been led to serve those in need the most, and be the hands and feet of Jesus. We all had a shared mission which felt so empowering, but we were all led to serve in many different parts of the world…from Guatemala to Southeast Asia and closer to home in Spain. All our mission trips would look very different but our shared purpose for being in these countries remained the same. Meeting those that had experienced the World Race before felt so so encouraging…and I can’t wait to get started now!
It makes my heart smile to see you walking in obedience to the call God placed on your heart.
💚
